Boycotting Starbucks

Starbucks has contributed only £8.6 million of corporation tax over 14 years whilst earning a profit of £14 billion. The wonderful staff at Starbucks manage to pay their tax, why can’t the company they work for do the same?
I will herein replace my 2 daily coffees from Starbucks for either a Costa or Nero.
I don’t believe a tax change will cause any effective change in a companies tax avoidance, if Dispatches review of MP’s tax avoidance is anything to go by that reports MP’s have merely adapted their means of benefiting from their status.
Instead I will not visit Starbucks until they have improved their tax status. This is one instance where the people have more power then the government, a bottom-up boycott of companies that are morally reprehensible is the most effective means of creating real change.

Pregnancy massage in Muswell Hill – trends towards the end
I always find that when the client reaches 35 weeks into her pregnancy the aches and pains change from her shoulders to her lower back. You start to feel the baby pushing downwards and this shift makes all the tension sit around the client’s sacrum which can be very uncomfortable. Sometimes, they will feel this pain refer up their spine as the muscles around the sacrum start to tighten. However, most women will get a huge amount of relief if their therapist works on the Gluteal muscles. During a pregnancy massage I use some gentle manipulation to begin with to soften up the muscle and then some strong elbow/thumb pressure points around the whole muscle will release the pressure that has built up around the hip and sacrum.
